Our royalty fee is progressive, starting at just 3% in your first two years of business, then increasing to 4% in year three, and finally stopping at 5% in year four and beyond. This is to give new franchisees the added benefit of additional cash flow in the early years to help to develop the business and to acquire their customer base prior to the burden of royalties. The 4% advertising fee is broken up into two parts: 2% is focused on local advertising efforts and 2% funds national advertising efforts.
