About Hair Saloon

Hair Saloon is more than just a haircut salon, but a place that carries century's old tradition of providing peace, tranquillity, and affordable haircut to give our customers a thrilling experience. It's the reinvention of the neighbourhood barbershop providing a premium brand of haircutting services that appeals to men of all ages.

Values & History

Founded in 1997, Hair Saloon has been offering great value and affordable service to customers since our inception. We are different from the normal modern saloons because too many male concepts today trend toward the "men's spa" or "men's salon" atmosphere and service offerings. We understand that approach, but we keep it simple and more masculine, respecting tradition and standards that men appreciate.

Our first franchise was sold in 2002 and we currently have 11 franchise locations along with our four company-owned saloons in operation. All current franchisees started as loyal customers and we are committed to identifying those individuals and groups who are ready to introduce the Hair Saloon brand in new markets. We believe in franchising as the most effective long-term growth strategy.

Industry Performance

The Hair Salon market in the United State is a $47.7bn industry as at 2020, which is a result of a 2% growth from 2015 – 2020. Industry revenue is determined by expenditure on discretionary purchases, such as hair treatments and products.

When per capita disposable income rises, consumers are more likely to visit a hair salon, thereby increasing industry revenue. Per capita disposable income is expected to increase in 2018, representing a potential opportunity for the industry.

Although the bulk of the income is generated in the female salons, male salons also contribute to the hair salon revenue.
