Values & History

Wingstop quickly became a fan favorite when we first opened our doors in 1994. Our proprietary recipes, outstanding food, and superior customer service created a demand that could only be satisfied by more locations.

In 1997 we began offering franchises. Today we are one of the fastest-growing concepts in the country, attracting top entrepreneurs and operators with the drive and passion to own their own business.

Industry Performance

Market Demand & Advantage

What began as a small buffalo-style chicken wing restaurant in Garland, Texas, continues to soar to great heights.

Today there are over 1,500 restaurants open across the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, UK, France, and the United Arab Emirates.

Wingstop landed on the scene in 1994 with the idea of serving the ultimate buffalo-style chicken wings and providing quality products with superior service at an exceptional value.

An immediate hit, we began offering franchises in 1997 in response to the growing interest from entrepreneurs wanting to open their own Wingstop restaurant.

Today we have more than 450 restaurants open or under development in 26 states and continue to add new stores at a rate of almost 30 percent annually.
