November is National Entrepreneur Month and this week, the entire world celebrates Global Entrepreneur Week, an initiative whose recognition and programs involve 180 countries, 20,000 partner organizations, more than 10 million people, and over 40,000 events and activities. Also known as GEW 2021, the cause campaign runs from Nov. 8-14, 2021. In the U.S., many individual states are participating with a host of networking events that extend down to the community level, including many institutions of higher learning.
According to the U.S. State Department’s website, this month (and week) is “…a time to celebrate the entrepreneurs who serve their communities and bolster the American economy.” As listed on the Global Entrepreneurship Network website, here are a few ways you can get involved in celebrating Global Entrepreneur Week:

Global Entrepreneurship Week began back in 2008, as a means to inspire and encourage the younger generation to forge their own destiny. This collaboration has grown each year, but Global Entrepreneurship Week in 2021 places a specific emphasis on connecting different societies together in a post-pandemic world. The theme focuses on our resilient efforts to leverage the power of new ideas, new thoughts, and new innovations. And if you’re participating on drawing attention to this week on social media, be sure to use the #GEW2021 hashtag!
