BREVARD COUNTY – January is a month known for new commitments to personal goals, including those surrounding money and career.

For county residents looking to make an investment in a new business this year, now is a good time to start a franchise.

That’s according to consultant Marshall Reddy, a franchising expert who helps connects franchise brands with potential owners in his role as a shareholder and franchisee within the FranNet group.

“With the population growth and new business development taking place in North/Central FL [there] are lots of franchise opportunities available,” Mr. Reddy said.

For one, Florida is number three state for franchise growth behind California and Texas, as noted in the International Franchise Association’s Franchise Business Economic Outlook for 2018 Report.

Additionally, people continue to relocate to north and central Florida because housing is less expensive and a significant amount of land is still available, Mr. Reddy added.
