How FranNet the Canadian Franchise Association & Others Help Veterans Succeed in their Civilian Lives

November means Remembrance Day here in Canada and we hope you all have your poppies pinned on to show support for all the veterans out there as well as those who gave their lives for Canada and current members of the military.

At FranNet, we do our part to help veterans by assisting them in finding the right franchising fit for them. It’s not always easy transitioning from military life to civilian life, so we want to make sure we are helping to make the transition as smooth as possible.

If you are a veteran interested in franchising, let us know your status and we will let you know which franchises have the best veterans discounts. That may be a big factor in the franchise you choose to go with.

Our partner the Canadian Franchise Association also helps out veterans. In fact, they’ve partnered with the Department of National Defence to develop the CFA Military Veterans Program (MVP).

With the MVP, participating franchises list their franchise opportunities and honourably discharged members of the military can peruse those opportunities and find the best fit for them. Many of the participating franchises offer unique deals and special incentives to veterans.

But, perhaps you’re a veteran who isn’t looking to own a business, but is just looking for a job. The MVP can help you, too, as it lists employment opportunities at franchise corporate head offices as well as at individual franchise locations.

And this program doesn’t just help veterans who are transitioning back into civilian life. It also helps franchises who are looking for dependable people who have what it takes to be a franchise owner or work in a franchise.

When you come in for a consultation with FranNet, we will start with asking you about your goals and what you want to accomplish with business ownership and help determine if franchise ownership is right for you.

We go over your interests with you, as well as your own personal and professional concerns and we’ll listen to you about any franchises that you’ve thought about joining.

Our consultants coach you through the entire investigative process to make sure you do it as thoroughly as possible. Then, we need to know about your financial situation to determine which franchises would be the best fit for you.

At FranNet, we are always proud to help our Canadian veterans transition into civilian life.
