Values & History

Bloomin' Blinds is a family-owned and operated franchise, offering blind repair and installation to customers across the country. We founded our company on September 11, 2001, filing the incorporation papers just two hours before planes hit the Twin Towers in New York. In the wake of the terror came a financial collapse. It was not the best time to launch a new business, but we did. We learned to adapt and thrive in an incredibly tumultuous environment, and that sturdiness translates to how we run our business today. Nothing is truly recession-proof, but after surviving the rest of 2001 and 2008-2010, we can say with confidence that Bloomin' Blinds is recession-resistant.

At Bloomin' Blinds, family is very important to us. We believe that the strong ties that bind us in families should also translate into our business structure. All of our franchise owners and employees are considered part of our extended family. As such, we strive to take care of them so that we can better serve our customers.

Industry Performance

Our Dallas office has been successfully in business since 2001. The office's 2017 sales posted more than $2 million. We've also won many awards and recognitions, including being named to The Dallas Business Journal's list of fastest-growing franchises of 2016 and being listed by Entrepreneur on its 2017 Franchise 500® list of top 100 new franchises of the past five years.

Home improvement--including services provided by contractors and tradespeople--represents an over $400 billion industry. With more millenials buying homes and more homes on the market aging, the demand for home repairs and upgrades will only grow over time. Now is an excellent time to break into this highly profitable industry by opening a Bloomin' Blinds franchise!

Training & Support

One of the best parts of owning a franchise versus starting your own business from scratch is the support you get from those who have been where you are. When you join the Bloomin' Blinds franchise family, you become just that: family. As such, we get to know you as a person, rather than just an account number or dollar sign. We provide you with all the training, marketing materials, and guidance you need from day one; keep in touch with you on a regular basis; and put you in contact with other franchise owners for added support. You'll also have access to our scheduling and CRM software to help you on your way.

Once you've signed on as a Bloomin' Blinds franchise owner, you'll come to Dallas and spend three weeks at our 3,000-square-foot training facility. We'll cover everything you need to be successful, including detailed instruction and hands-on experience selling, installing, and repairing blinds. We supply marketing tools to help you leverage our national brand recognition into local profits. You'll leave with a thorough understanding of the proven strategies and systems we use to boost client satisfaction and loyalty. In short, you'll have a solid foundation to reach your financial goals and see your window coverings franchise thrive, all while providing an in-demand service to customers throughout your community.

Ideal Candidate & Qualifications

Running a business requires true dedication and commitment from the beginning, regardless of what business it is. Ideal Bloomin' Blinds franchisees have the desire, motivation, and grit to succeed that are necessary for business success. They are people who are able to juggle many tasks, including managing calls, schedules, appointments, and all of the details that go into keeping a business running smoothly. If you are an energetic person with a "hands-on" personality and a desire to serve others by providing the highest quality customer service in blinds and window coverings, then Bloomin' Blinds might be a great fit for you!

Purchasing a Bloomin' Blinds Franchise

While the cost of opening a Bloomin' Blinds franchise ($49,500 franchise fee, $150,000-450,000 total investment) can be similar to the cost of opening your own business, what you're getting for your money is vastly different.

When you choose to franchise, you get support, systems, and marketing that Bloomin' Blinds has already developed for you! This can help you launch more quickly than starting a business on your own. In most cases, Bloomin' Blinds franchisees can be up and running in fewer than 90 days.

Additionally, the franchising fee covers your hotel stay for three weeks of training, your initial inventory of parts ($2,500 value), and your initial marketing budget for your Grand Opening ($3,000 - PPC, Home Advisor, Newspaper, etc.). Bloomin' Blinds also offers in-house financing for up to $15,000 of the franchise fee
