Values & History
Garfield's has been franchising since 1987. With thirty-three years of opening restaurants under our belt, the company has solidified its holdings and weathered bad economies and low periods to emerge as a leading franchise brand offering. Folks love the quaint atmosphere that allows them to eat, drink, and be merry at their own pace. Casual dining has always been a part of Garfield's formula, and the industry has shifted largely in that direction. Our positioning has never been stronger, and our team has the experience to help newcomers to our franchise operations succeed.
Industry Performance
Let's face it, a nice juicy hamburger and a beer will never go out of style. Whatever diets, fads, and other crazes come and go, our standard American fare of steak, ribs, assortments of pasta, salads, and sides will always remain popular. Mixed with a knowledgeable bartending staff that knows every drink under the sun — including some of our own that you can only get at Garfield's — we have a simple, winning formula.
Our current restaurants are pulling in excellent numbers, and that is why while other chains have pulled their franchise expansion licenses and even shrunk their numbers to consolidate their business operations, we are still expanding at a deliberate, strategic rate and finding new territory within the United States to ply our trade in.
Training & Support
As part of the seven-week "classroom experience" means that you will spend time in an existing, thriving Garfield's to learn some of the tricks of our trade, including mastering our menu and understanding how to maximize profits through marketing and in-store customer service techniques.
We'll continue to support your business through our advertising and publicity campaigns, ensuring everyone knows about your grand opening and about specials that are being run through our chain. Image is very important to us, and we'll assist you every step of the way ensuring that your Garfield's is as classy and well-thought of as the rest of our successful locations.
Ideal Candidate & Qualifications
We are only offering franchise opportunities within the borders of the United States of America. We look for experienced partners who have at least five years being involved in either retail or the restaurant business. Outgoing people who can treat the clientele well is a must for creating the right atmosphere in a fast-casual dining and bar experience. If all of this sounds like you, then we'd love to discuss targeting a location so we can get started working together.
Purchasing a Garfield's Restaurant and Pub Franchise
Once we get past the initial financial matters, we will put you in a seven-week program that will teach you everything you need to know about how to open, run, and grow your Garfield's Restaurant & Pub. We will help with site location and signing the lease, then get to work on helping find your staff and creating the right interior decorating that fits our motif but still allows you some wiggle room for your individual taste.
You'll be off and running in no time, and we'll stop in to help you with advice and to make any course corrections that might be hurting your bottom line. You'll have the benefit of our multi-decade history backing your ability to be creative and do exciting things at your restaurant.
