About HomeWell Care Services

HomeWell Care Services is a leading national provider of quality in-home senior care. In business for 20 years, HomeWell focuses on acknowledging the dignity of each client and creating the most comfortable and stress-free living environment possible. For our franchise owners, opening a HomeWell franchise is an opportunity to do good work while doing good for others. It's a decision that will change your life and have a momentous impact on the lives of others.

Three Levels of Care

  • Companion Care: Includes basic housekeeping such as laundry and meal preparation as well as companionship activities such as playing cards or reading books.
  • Basic Care: Includes all services included in Companion Care as well as more involved assistance such as bathing, dressing, and medication reminders.
  • Specialty Care: Necessary for those with higher health demands, this level includes all services in the previous levels, as well as transportation, feeding, bed-bound care, and special care for Alzheimer's or dementia.

Values & History

HomeWell was started 20 years ago by a caregiver who was challenged to open his own business by one of his clients. We are not your average home care agency. For us, it's not simply about placing a caregiver in the home. We take a holistic approach to at-home care that focuses on both accomplishing the tasks of daily living and improving the overall wellbeing of each individual entrusted to our care. Our primary objective is to bring more enjoyment to the lives of those who find it increasingly difficult to function well on their own. We remove the burden of stress from both the person needing assistance, and those who love and care for them. We help people maintain their dignity and their independence. We protect and care for those who are unable to do so themselves. We help people function better. We help people enjoy life more. We do all of this by working as a team to provide reliable and compassionate in-home care that goes far beyond typical adult care services.

Industry Performance

The senior care industry is thriving. 10,000 baby boomers will turn 65 each day over the next 15 years, fueling the aging population and creating high-demand for franchises like HomeWell. We're already seeing 40% of adults ages 65+ need assistance with daily living activities. This leads to an estimated $522 billion a year spent by family and friends to provide informal care for aging Americans.

The outlook for the senior care industry is very promising. We are seeing demand grow exponentially year-over-year and revenues for the global home health sector are projected to grow to $300 billion by 2020. HomeWell specifically is poised to meet this demand and our brand is positioned well for growth. In fact, in recent years we've seen record-setting growth, which has strengthened our national scale and presence. We are continuously investing in our brand, our service offerings, and owner support, resulting in strong brand equity for our franchisees. In the expanding field of in-home senior care, HomeWell gives franchise owners the opportunity to invest in a lucrative future.

Purchasing a HomeWell Care Services Franchise

With the senior care industry booming, opening a HomeWell Care Services franchise represents the potential for a highly lucrative long-term investment. Franchisee candidates must have a minimum net worth of $300,000 and at least $150,000 in liquid cash. The average total upfront investment ranges from $70,000 to $130,000, including a $49,500 franchise fee.

Ideal Candidate & Qualifications

At HomeWell, we look for potential owners who are self-starters, have a passion for business ownership, who understand sales and its importance in driving success, who are willing to follow a proven system, and have a commitment to succeed. Our successful franchisees have been from a variety of backgrounds; however, we believe there are certain skills that prove to be beneficial when running a HomeWell agency. We find our most successful owners have business management experience, resiliency and a focus on execution. It's also interesting to note that some of our most successful owners have no previous health care experience. We believe if they possess the right skills for business ownership, we can teach them the industry.

Training & Support

Whether you've had first-hand experience or are new to the world of health and home care, HomeWell puts its 20 years of experience to work to help our franchise owners understand and master this rapidly expanding industry. The quality of tools, materials, resources, and training we provide is unmatched by any other in-home care service provider.
