Sid Wertheim wanted to create the best NY deli-style sandwich ever experienced in the Midwest and opened the first Little King in 1969. For years he succeeded at delighting customers to such an extent that the first Little King franchise expansion spread through several states. Content that the business had achieved even more than he'd wanted, Sid focused on ensuring that every Little King that had opened stayed opened with great food and amazing service.
In recent years, the company has decided to once again open our business for new franchise owners in order to allow a new generation of customers to enjoy our updated and highly regarded menu.
When you have a brand name that's been special for 40 years that's saying a lot. Part of it is that we use fresh ingredients and never disappoint with weakly made sandwiches. That reputation has helped us get to the top of the cold sandwich segment mountain in our region, and it's time for the rest of the country to sample Little King's for themselves.
One of the main ingredients for our success is our catering service. We don't just drop off sandwiches. We help set up the event and provide everything from our unique boxed lunches to a full spread meant to please at any party, celebration, or business meeting. That has helped us become far more than just a sandwich joint. Our willingness to go that extra mile has catapulted us to the peak we're standing on.

Training & Support
The company is devoting a substantial amount of resources to our expansion plans. That means that you will not only have the excellent in-store training that you'll need to know absolutely everything you want about running a Little King, but you'll also have a tremendous network moving forward.
