About The Brass Tap Craft Beer Bar
Think of our brand as your neighborhood craft beer bar — only completely reimagined to offer far more than a typical beer bar experience. How? First, we optimize each Brass Tap's extensive beer menu based on local preferences, and we keep such preferences in a fresh rotation throughout the year. Why? This gives guests in each locale "their own" Brass Tap.
In addition to our offerings as a beer bar franchise, we offer a full liquor bar to keep all our guests happy as the night progresses and tastes shift. As for our fare, The Brass Tap doesn't do "bar food". Our selections (including shareables) elevate expectations within the category by putting a premium upscale twist on classic favorites. We also offer live entertainment, which means there's always something going on at The Brass Tap — from live music ... to trivia nights ... to exclusive beer tastings.
But we are not just a craft beer bar. We are innovators. Over the past five years, The Brass Tap concept has proven its ability to lead a category filled with abundant opportunities. We've not only crafted the ultimate guest experience, we've turned it into a business model that maximizes your investment potential.
Values & History
In 2007, three business partners and friends from the restaurant world created a vision for the "Ultimate Beer Bar." They recognized the explosive growth in the craft beer market and appreciated the simplicity of operating a beer bar versus a full service restaurant and began creating The Brass Tap. In October 2008, The Brass Tap's first location opened in the Shoppes at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel, Florida and was soon followed by a second location in the Brandon Town Center in Brandon, Florida in October 2010. With a mission to create a premium beer experience for the world, The Brass Tap is well on its way.
Craft beer is a $26 billion industry in the U.S. While overall beer sales have been declining--down 1.2% in 2017--craft beer has been increasing. In fact in 2017 it was up 5% according to the Brewers Association. This trend has been strengthening in the past years, and with its excellent business model and focus on customer satisfaction, The Brass Tap has been "tapping" into this trending market. In fact, we now have 47 locations across 16 states, and we're still growing!
Purchasing a The Brass Tap Craft Beer Bar Franchise
The Brass Tap is proud to have the lowest cost to own in the industry. And, we offer multi-unit agreements for investors with vision. How are we able to be so affordable? Our business model is quite nimble. Unlike typical casual dining franchises, you won't have the staffing, space, equipment, and inventory demands of a full kitchen.

Training & Support
Not only have we crafted a winning business model, but we've also carved an efficient path for bringing your Brass Tap to life. You'll find we care more about opening the right doors than inventing obstacles. It's an attitude focused on growth — specifically, your growth.
Besides support with real estate and marketing, we offer a four-week long, comprehensive training at our corporate headquarters. Afterwards we'll come to you for an additional two-week training at your location with our business support team. Once you're up and running you will be assigned a Regional Franchise Consultant to help to answer any business-related questions you might have and to troubleshoot any areas you need support with.
