In 2007, three business partners and friends from the restaurant world created a vision for the "Ultimate Beer Bar." They recognized the explosive growth in the craft beer market and appreciated the simplicity of operating a beer bar versus a full service restaurant and began creating The Brass Tap. In October 2008, The Brass Tap's first location opened in the Shoppes at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel, Florida and was soon followed by a second location in the Brandon Town Center in Brandon, Florida in October 2010. With a mission to create a premium beer experience for the world, The Brass Tap is well on its way.

Training & Support

Not only have we crafted a winning business model, but we've also carved an efficient path for bringing your Brass Tap to life. You'll find we care more about opening the right doors than inventing obstacles. It's an attitude focused on growth — specifically, your growth.

Besides support with real estate and marketing, we offer a four-week long, comprehensive training at our corporate headquarters. Afterwards we'll come to you for an additional two-week training at your location with our business support team. Once you're up and running you will be assigned a Regional Franchise Consultant to help to answer any business-related questions you might have and to troubleshoot any areas you need support with. Of course, you will also have access to ongoing training across all departments for as long as you are a franchisee.
