Recapping the Annual FranNet Fall Conference

Last month, FranNet’s corporate office hosted our annual Fall Conference. Each year, this is a time for our FranNet consultants, suppliers, vendors, and even a few select brand representatives to come together and evaluate our go-to-market strategy of helping entrepreneurs become business owners through franchising. As expected, we had a great turnout of attendees and the conference was a synergistic success for the brand.

To provide some specifics on what went down in our hometown of Louisville, KY, below are a few of the key takeaways we’d like to share with our audience…

A Look Ahead

In addition to evaluating our programs, systems, and sales performance over the last calendar year, attendees had the opportunity to look ahead at some of the burgeoning trends in the franchising industry. One takeaway of note is the rise of platform companies who work alongside franchisors and franchisees to supplement some of the industry’s most difficult challenges. What we discovered is that the industry itself is splintering – not in a bad way – into smaller, more specialized platform companies. These new players each have a specific service-oriented approach in assisting different roles within franchising’s business model. For instance, some of these developing platform companies specialize in helping brands recruit more franchises. Others specialize in co-op marketing, advertising, and promotions – especially in the digital arena. What it signifies is the further refinement of the franchising industry’s business model – creating even more efficiencies and productivity.

Categories to Watch

FranNet’s Fall Conference attendees had the pleasure of hearing directly from several franchise brand representatives, who gave presentations on the state of the industries they represent. The 2022 brand lineup included updates from several up-and-coming franchise concepts in the health and wellness, boutique fitness, senior care, pets, child-oriented, and home service categories. If you’re currently reviewing franchise concepts, there are dozens of brand examples representing these industries in FranNet’s Brand Directory.

FranNet’s Valued Industry Partners

In addition to hearing presentations from several franchisors, the FranNet Fall Conference also included many of our vendor partners in the industry. In attendance this year were CGI Franchise, Pinnacle Franchise Development, Benetrends Financial, and PrideStaff. CGI Franchise CEO Art Coley helped kick off the conference, sharing the stage with FranNet’s long-time CEO, Jania Bailey. These key vendors each hosted workshops designed to help make the lives of our FranNet consultants much easier, and we were pleased to have each of them join us.

All in all, the 2022 FranNet Fall Conference was another resounding success. Retreats such as these give our FranNet consultants, vendors, and partners a face-to-face opportunity to check in with one another and rededicate ourselves to the company’s primary mission – turning entrepreneurs into business owners through franchising!
