Every year, FranNet hosts its annual Fall Meeting – a networking event and opportunity for our consultants, vendors, and franchise partners. This year, the meeting was held at the Marriott Downtown Hotel in Louisville, KY (also the hometown of our corporate HQ!) on Oct. 2-4. It’s always a time to celebrate the synergies we experience in working in the franchising industry, learning how we can all work together in expanding the possibilities for helping entrepreneurs establish business ownership of their own.
The three-day workshop was action-packed, with wall-to-wall presentations, panels, discussions, and social activities. It was a Bootcamp of sorts but allowed FranNet to shoot some entertaining video and update our consultant’s corporate headshots. Several FranNet consultants were singled out by brand representatives with awards for their sales efforts to date. Aside from these happenings, here are a few more highlights from this year’s FranNet Convention.
Where Franchise Brands are Always On-Brand
Several franchisors attended the retreat to conduct scheduled presentations on their individual brand attributes – and what makes them an attractive choice for franchisee candidates. FranNet consultants were treated to specific value propositions, sales tips, demonstrations, and state-of-the-industry presentations, all designed to help us communicate the mission statement, vision, and values of these franchise concepts. Participants included Express Employment Professionals, Body20, Home Clean Heroes, Focal Point Coaching, Pool Scouts, and British Swim School. These are just a few franchise brands maintained in FranNet’s Brand Directory.
Hearing From Our Valued Vendor Partners
In addition to having representation from several franchisors, the FranNet Fall Conference also included participation from many of our vendor partners in the industry. In attendance this year were CGI Franchise, Pinnacle Franchise Development, Benetrends Financial, and PrideStaff. CGI Franchise CEO Art Coley helped kick off the conference, sharing the stage with FranNet’s long-time CEO, Jania Bailey. These key vendors each hosted workshops designed to help make the lives of our FranNet consultants much easier, and we were pleased to have each of them join us.
Time to Have a Little Fun!
FranNet’s Fall Conference was a professional gathering with a career-minded agenda, but that doesn’t mean attendees didn’t have their fair share of fun along the way. On the opening night Oct. 2, serving as an icebreaker for all guests, attendees were treated to a FranNet Special Event, sponsored by Benetrends Financial. What type of special event? Karaoke! Held at The Tavern on Fourth in downtown Louisville, attendees and guests had the opportunity to sing their hearts out at this spacious, industrial-themed venue. The best performing vocalists were treated to prizes.
The final day of the convention, Oct. 4, was set aside for FranNet consultants only. Not only was it a time to discuss what we learned, but it allowed each representative the opportunity to share their insights and rededicate themselves to guiding all of our clients to an entrepreneurial future with ease. As for 2022, that’s a wrap – but we’re already looking forward to next year’s gathering.
