The older I get, the more I realize I’m standing on the shoulders of those who came before me.
In the mid-1800s, my great-great-great-great grandparents left Switzerland and crossed the ocean, chasing the hope of a better future for their children.
A century later, my great-grandpa sold his farm after being drafted into World War II, where he drove a half-track in the European theater. His sacrifice allowed his son and my grandfather to raise a family in peace.
My dad built on that foundation, starting multiple businesses so that he, my mom, and our family could thrive. Today, I work alongside him. And now, as a father myself, I feel the weight and privilege of continuing that legacy.
For generations, the “why” of every Pfister has been the same: Make it better for the next generation.
I’m grateful for the vehicle of franchising to help steward and expand that legacy!
