I work with people who want to explore becoming business owners as their primary full-time career or on a part-time basis while they keep their job. I coach business seekers through a proven process of finding franchise businesses that match their goals, lifestyle, experience, skills, flexibility needs and budget. Then I help them each step of the way to reach a decision point.
At FranNet, we work a lot like executive recruiters. Rather than matching clients with a job, we match them with a business. So, there's no cost at all to franchise candidates for our services.
As a client, you'll start the process by discovering your own unique 'business ownership DNA' via an assessment tool based on Spiral Values Dynamics, Stanford Research Institute's VALS, neuro-linguistic programming & social/emotional intelligences.
From that scientific foundation, you and I will collaborate to build your personal business model that includes all the elements of your ideal business. Next, I'll present a short list of franchises that fit your objectives & how you're wired. Using the FranNet process - perfected over appx. 30 years and used by 100+ consultants in our system - ensures the businesses you'll evaluate fit you like a favorite pair of jeans.
I work with many people in career transition. Some are corporate refugees who have been restructured, right-sized, rifted, rebadged or simply got fed up with the corporate world. Others continue working their full-time jobs and run a franchise on the side for another income stream or as part of their exit plan from their jobs. Yet others are moms and dads reentering the workforce, parent/adult child partnerships, or those looking for semi-retirement options.
At FranNet, we look for businesses with a 90%+ success rate that can replace a 6-figure income when they're up and running. Many allow you to work flexible schedules and take weekends off. You’ll discover franchising is much more than French fries, subs and retail.
More about Carol Ward
As a 4th generation entrepreneur, my business matching expertise is grounded in my personal quest to find freedom and an upside after 25 years in the corporate world where I led public relations and marketing efforts at companies ranging from a Fortune 500 company to an executive compensation consulting firm. Initially, I met my goal by launching and operating my own PR business that I ran for more than 6 years. Later, I discovered my true passion by helping people find businesses via franchise ownership. Little did I know that FranNet would also help me achieve my personal goal, set 15 years prior, of helping people who have been laid off.
Back in 2013, I joined FranNet's corporate headquarters where I worked with 1000s of franchise candidates to get them started in the FranNet process. It's humbling to know that more than 50 are now franchise owners. In addition, I had the opportunity to vet and validate franchisors for FranNet, providing hands-on experience I use to help lead clients through the process themselves.
Our family moved to Birmingham, Michigan as part of the Detroit area's resurgence, specifically for my husband's position at The Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village. We spend most of our free time watching my son's ice hockey games and occasionally visiting our other son who serves proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps. I also enjoy antiquing, attending festivals and walking along the sugar sand beaches in Pure Michigan.
