FranNet Corporate begins the 2022 year with the special announcement that franchising veteran Dan Monaghan has joined the organization’s board of directors. He’ll join other board members, Jack Armstrong (Chairman), Jania Bailey (CEO and Director), and Blair Nicol (Vice-Chairman of the Board) to oversee the growth and direction of the company.

Dan Monaghan is the founder and CEO of Clear Summit Group, a private equity firm which invests in early-stage high growth franchise and technology companies across the spectrum of franchise industries. With over two decades of franchise industry experience, Monaghan is also on the board of the International Franchise Association (IFA) and is the Chair of its non-profit foundation.

A lifelong entrepreneur, Monaghan owned his first franchise at the age of 19, using the profits to fund his studies at Sir Wilfred Laurier University in his native Ontario, Canada. Less than 10 years later, he authored a best-selling book, “Why Not Me?”, before founding WSI, a company which has grown to become the world’s largest global digital marketing franchise group. Dan is passionate about education and has been a guest lecturer on franchising at universities such as Cornell and Georgetown. Outside of franchising, Dan is also the founder of “Make Child Poverty History“, a world-wide outreach program operated in partnership with World Vision.

“To say we’re thrilled with the appointment of Dan Monaghan to our board of directors is an understatement,” said Jania Bailey, CEO of FranNet. “As a veteran of many aspects of the franchising industry, he brings a unique growth-minded perspective to our organization that will benefit us for years to come. With the addition of Dan’s leadership on our board, FranNet is committed to remaining the best and most trusted franchise consultancy in the industry.”
