This marks the third consecutive year that FranNet has earned a ranking from Entrepreneur in the Franchise Broker/Referral Networks grouping – a category that was added to the overall list in 2020. Below is an explanation of how Entrepreneur determines the rankings in this prestigious annual list, as well as what CEO Jania Bailey had to say about our inclusion.
How It Began and What It Means
2018 was the first year that Entrepreneur decided to recognize some of the industry’s top suppliers and vendors, an often-overlooked category when franchise brands typically dominate the news cycle. Each year, Entrepreneur has expanded the number of categories to include several new industries and business channels that help drive innovation, efficiencies, and value in the franchising industry. The featured companies on the annual top suppliers list represent the brands who are the best at what they do in their category of the franchising industry.
How Entrepreneur Determines the Rankings
Each year, the editors at Entrepreneur Magazine send out a survey to more than 900 different franchisors, from emerging concepts to well-established brands. The comprehensive survey asks respondents to share the service providers they know, use, and trust in their day-to-day operations. Respondents are also invited to share their feedback and opinion on each of the nominee’s services, as they pertain to user satisfaction, quality, and cost-benefit analysis. All the nominated companies are scored for each of the current 11 categories and provided with a ranking in their respective groups. Every company that earned a ranking then becomes part of Entrepreneur’s preferred Franchise Suppliers Directory.
