This month, FranNet once again renewed our partnership with the SCORE Association. If you’re unfamiliar with SCORE, they’re the nonprofit resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). As the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, SCORE is dedicated to launching small businesses and fostering their sustainable growth. During the past five decades, SCORE’s 10,000 volunteers have provided mentorship and education to over 11 million entrepreneurs. FranNet’s relationship with SCORE goes back several years and has continually produced mutually beneficial outcomes for both of our organizations.

In celebration of the partnership renewal, the CEO of SCORE Association, Bridget Weston had this to say about FranNet:

“We are proud to work side-by-side with FranNet as a valued long-time partner. FranNet representatives have worked closely with SCORE mentors throughout the country to provide educational workshops about franchise opportunities.”

How do FranNet’s consultants intersect with SCORE chapters? Several different ways, including a few you may already be familiar with:

Mentoring Clients

FranNet consultants across the U.S. and Canada team up with SCORE volunteers and chapters to provide free, confidential business mentorships. Sessions can be booked and reserved in-person, or via phone, Zoom or email correspondence. Visit the FranNet Consultant Directory here and a list of SCORE business mentors here.

Live Webinars

SCORE hosts free, live webinars each week, many times with a FranNet consultant taking part on the panel of the particular topic. You can view a list of upcoming live and recorded webinars here and view the full archive of past episodes here.

Workshops/Interactive Classes

SCORE offers clients a host of business training workshops and interactive classes to help them become better business owners. You can view a list of current offerings, filtered by individual and local chapters for a list of topics.

Resources

We think that SCORE’s library of online resources is well worth your time. Clients can browse to find items such as free business templates, checklists, e-guides, blogs, videos, and other tools—all of which help new business owners get their operation off the ground and moving ahead.

In more ways than we can count, the partnership between SCORE and FranNet will continue to benefit the entrepreneurial-minded individuals who long to establish a small business of their own. As the leading franchise consultancy in the U.S., we’re proud of our affiliation with SCORE and all they do to foster a climate of business ownership possibilities.
